Country profile

Coast, mountains and contemporary communities.

Norway lies in Northern Europe, along the western side of the Scandinavian Peninsula. Oslo is the capital. Fjords, mountains, forests and a long coastline shape its geography and connections.

Norway is a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary system. The King is head of state and the Prime Minister leads the government. The currency is the Norwegian krone.

Maritime activity, energy, research and design provide different introductions to the country. In Uganda, the relationship includes honorary representation and a documented history of cooperation in energy and higher education.
